Qualifying Requirements and Entry Options

Qualifying Requirements Remain the Same – Qualification is by class. Horses and Riders that place in the top 30 of a class in a local Circuit or place in the top 10 in of a local NCHA Affiliate. When a horse or rider qualifies via a Circuit placing and is also on the top 10 Affiliate list, additional qualifiers are taken from the local Affiliate.

Expanded Entry Options for Qualified Horses and Riders - New in 2026, qualified horses and riders may ALSO enter other classes in the Eastern National schedule for which they were eligible during the 2025 point year. See the excerpt from the rules regarding entries below.

NO SLOTS – A change in 2026, entries are not slots. To accommodate the bonus entries, entries may no longer be sold. But entries withdrawn prior to the draw have no penalty and receive a full refund.

Youth Classes – All youth are invited to enter. No qualifying necessary.

Evening Championship Classes – Open to all riders and horses. Entry is based on 2026 eligibility and earnings count toward World Finals.
