Qualifying Requirements and Entry Options

Qualifying Requirements Remain the Same – Qualification is by class. Horses and Riders that place in the top 30 of a class in a local Circuit or place in the top 10 in of a local NCHA Affiliate. When a horse or rider qualifies via a Circuit placing and is also on the top 10 Affiliate list, additional qualifiers are taken from the local Affiliate.

Expanded Entry Options for Qualified Horses and Riders - New in 2026, qualified horses and riders may ALSO enter other classes in the Eastern National schedule for which they were eligible during the 2025 point year.

NO SLOTS – A change in 2026, entries are not slots. To accommodate the bonus entries, entries may no longer be sold. But entries withdrawn prior to the draw have no penalty and receive a full refund.

Youth Classes – All youth are invited to enter. No qualifying necessary. 2 Goes and a Pencil Finals.

Atlantic Coast CHA Evening Championship Classes

Entries and Payments

Evening classes being held Wednesday, February 25, thru Wednesday, March 4, can be entered online at myequinal.app or at the secretary's table at the show. All Class entries MUST be finalized by 12:00 noon the day the class is held. All classes are currently open and available to enter online. Entries scratched after 12:00 noon on class day are responsible for all fees. The secretary can be reached at (704) 756-5921.

All Atlantic Coast CHA Weekend entry fees MUST be paid with the show secretary by the end of the show on Wednesday, March 4. The secretary will be available to receive payments during the show each night and from 4:00 pm thru the end of the show on Wednesday, March 4.

These Evening Championship Classes are open to all riders and horses. Entry is based on 2026 eligibility and earnings count toward World Finals.
