Youth
As an aid for the Judge's Department, the NCHA Rule Book requires that all approved, non-challenger NCHA events be recorded. Show Management is required to use an NCHA certified videographer.

Beginning with the 2024 point year, all members who wish to be a certified videographer are required to pay a $150 certification fee. Once fully certified, that fee covers 2 yeas of videographer certification.

All existing videographers are required to recertify prior to December 31, 2023.

The flow chart below outlines the process by which a member becomes a new videographer or renews their existing certification.
It all starts with a contact to the NCHA Judge's Department staff:
All Videographers are required to recertify prior to December 31, 2023.
Those that do not will have their Videographer status removed (inactivated) and they should not be selected by show management to video NCHA approved shows.
Videographers who recertify prior to December 31, 2023 will have their new certification expiration date based on their certification status as of July 15, 2023:
- Videographers who were certified for 2023 will be recertified for 2024 and 2025.
- Videographers who were NOT certified for 2023 will be recertified for 2023 and 2024.
Existing Videographers who are removed from the list on January 1, 2024 and then choose to recertify in 2024 will have their new certification expiration date determined by their activity in 2023:
- Videographers who were certified for 2023 will be recertified for 2024 and 2025.
- Videographers who were NOT certified for 2023 and videoed any shows in 2023 will be recertified for 2023 and 2024.
- Videographers who were NOT certified for 2023 and did NOT video any shows in 2023 will be recertified for 2024 and 2025.
